I had to send back 6 Brooks Brothers OCBD’s because the monogramming was too large in the font I wanted. These came back just in time for vacation. I had them reduced now they are small and discrete, like monogramming should be. Back home for two weeks in the room I grew up in. It’s true, you can come home again.

Brooksweave candy stripe OCBD, Uniqlo linen cardigan, and a Orvis/Hamilton manual wind watch, c.1980. A Christmas present from my parents many years ago. Worn with the original band. The watch has a hacking feature that stops the second hand in order to set the exact time. Still keeps very good time.

Second HTJ wrist-shot! My pleading is yielding results. Now @heavytweedjacket come to Instagram and we can all be happy!

I’ve been waiting a long time for a HTJ wrist shot. A very long time.

Thank you.

Yesterday we were visited by members of the foundation that majorly funds our institute, i.e. the people whose names are on the building. We are asked to dress up, so I wore my trusty security guard uniform. And since I’m contractually obligated to post on tumblr anytime I wear a tie, enjoy my mug.

@justbudfox security guard… Ya hear that?! Navy blazer, grey slacks, OCBD and rep tie. Boom!
