Happy Thanksgiving Tumbler Family! Sport coat by Oxxford, 1/8th lined, Brooks Brothers Cotton Cardigan (found recently on their site for $35! I bought a this kelly green and a navy one. With white mother of pearl buttons it has a spring/summer feel which is perfect for where I live). Loro Piana graph check shirt in hunter green, it’s so fine, as thin as paper, perfect for layering. Old RL skinny rep tie with yellow, green and red over Navy. Below tan poplin pants and Peal & Co. suede brogues.
Today: as @heavytweedjacket would say, I’m “rumpled”… Shirt, must iron (but didn’t) OCBD Brooks Brothers, Brooks Brothers Belt made for “St. Jude’s” (because what’s more noble than curing kids of cancer?) RL poplin pants, and Belgian loafers in the Tahoe.
It’s tux season, and I’m ready for some black-tie parties in NY & PA during my holiday tour. Jacket by H.Freeman for @oconnellsclthng made in America. Bow tie by Robert Talbott, Shirt by Turnbull & Asser.
Shirt by Hermes, Bow Tie by Carrot & Gibbs, and Navy Windowpane suit by Ralph Lauren.
So Pitti 2015.

The recent pair of White Bucks I bought were too large. Forgot to size down with the Barrie last. So three new Alden’s from the shop on Madison Ave. White & Dirty Bucks, and a delicious pair of Shell Cordovan Plain Tow Blucher with Commando Soles… Yea baby.
justbudfox curious if commando soled shoes were good for Florida… My reason (outside of beings shoe whore and wanting everything), firstly, the lugs on the shoes are very narrow, not like a work boot. Secondly, living in a concrete jungle like South Florida, we get a LOT of rain. Leather soled shoes are very slippery on polished treated concrete that is seemingly everywhere. Lastly, I was on the fence, but they threw in 3 pairs of shoe trees and free shipping if I bought them. He closed me.

I’ve been gradually shifting to classics with an Italian Twist. And I like it.
